Job requirements

As GMP Data Coordinator, you will ensure the process (of reconciling, rectifying, and implementing GMPs) within the wider team is well managed. This will involve being a point of contact for the GMP Admin Project team on all queries, ensuring that other scheme projects are identified, and tasks and dates are aligned.

This role will ideally be aligned to an Aptia Office in the UK on a hybrid-working basis. Other flexible working options may be considered by exception.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Attending kick off planning calls to agree budgets once work has started, flagging in advance where the agreed scope is expected to exceed agreed budget or any out of scope work
  • Confirm requirements, budget allocation, tracking and timescales.
  • Reviewing the budget tracker regularly to ensure accurate time recording and awareness of the progress against the GMP project admin budgets.
  • Communicating potential changes to project timescales at an early stage with relevant team members and stakeholders.
  • Arranging internal planning calls for the phases of work, including handover calls between separate teams as the work is moved across separate tasks.
  • Maintain a basic project plan for each scheme under your control from an Admin perspective

What we’re looking for:

  • Good knowledge of GMP and DB pensions schemes and legislation is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Organised, able to plan and prioritise under pressure
  • Good basic project management skills
  • Strong systems knowledge, especially MS Word and Excel
